Another Day

Eugene opened his dented lunchbox and found a note.  Small curly letters, signed with a heart.  He smiled ruefully and taped it inside his visor, a reminder of who waited on the other side of the asteroid.  Fifteen days together, thirty days apart.  The oxygen drilling rig was home now.
